Susan Ramirez

Susan Ramirez serves as Chief of Staff to the Vice Chancellor for Finance. In this role, she provides operational oversight for the office and its reporting units, managing key administrative functions including finance, human resources, communications, and special initiatives. Sue also plays a vital role in campus space planning and oversees property management for several self-supporting facilities. Sue joined UIC in 2005 and brings deep institutional knowledge and cross–functional expertise to her work as a principal liaison to internal stakeholders. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from UIC’s Liberal Arts and Sciences and received a Master of Library and Information Science from Dominican University.
